A citizen scientist identities a species of captured bat. One of the Trust's citizen science projects compares bat density in an urban area (a shopping mall) with bat density in a natural protected area (a cave). Assessing the impact of habitat fragmentation on bat populations will help researchers better understand the health of the overall ecosystem.
