Videos credited to the National Science Foundation, an agency of the U.S. Government, may be distributed freely. However, some materials within the videos may be copyrighted. With the help of former NFL quarterback Joey Harrington, NSF-funded scientists John Ziegert, a professor at Clemson University, and Rhonda Hughes, a professor at Bryn Mawr College, explain how to use vectors to calculate the speed and direction needed for a completed pass.
