Informational Webinar on the GROW program for NSF GRFP Fellows is scheduled for Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at 2:00 pm ET. The primary focus of this Webinar is on GROW with USAID.

New GROW Dear Colleague Letter Released
The new GROW Dear Colleague Letter has been released. GROW expands opportunities for U.S. graduate students to engage in international research collaboration. GROW is open only to recipients of the Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP). The submission deadline is January 8, 2014. In addition to the 2013 partner countries: Denmark, Finland, France, Japan, Korea, Norway, Singapore, and Sweden, new opportunities are available in Australia, Brazil, Chile, India, Ireland, the Netherlands, and Switzerland, and through a partnership with the U.S. Agency for International Development, in several developing countries: Brazil, Colombia, India, Indonesia, Philippines, Senegal, and South Africa. More GROW Partner Countries Added for 2014
GROW expands opportunities for U.S. graduate students to engage in international research collaboration. GROW is open only to recipients of the Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP). For the upcoming competition, in addition to the 2013 partner countries: Denmark, Finland, France, Japan, Norway, South Korea, Singapore, and Sweden, new opportunities will be included in Switzerland, the Netherlands, Ireland, Chile and India. In an era of globalization of research excellence, an international research experience is rapidly becoming an integral part of an outstanding graduate education. Graduate Research Opportunities Worldwide (GROW) is a collaboration between NSF, international partners and the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) to provide NSF Graduate Research Fellows with expanded opportunities to enhance professional development through research collaborations at top-caliber science and engineering research sites overseas.
GROW continues research cooperation with counterpart funding organizations in Denmark, Finland, France, Japan, Korea, Norway, Singapore and Sweden. In addition, GROW in 2013-2014 introduces new opportunities in Australia, Brazil, Chile, India, Ireland, Netherlands, and Switzerland. It also includes new opportunities in Brazil, Colombia, India, Indonesia, the Philippines, Senegal and South Africa in partnership with USAID.
