ABSTRACT

This award provides funding for a 3-year standard award to support a Research Experiences for Teachers (RET) Site program at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU), entitled, "Pittsburgh's What is Engineering RET." CMU will team with the Pittsburgh Public and Diocesan School Systems (PPS), FIRST Robotics, and PITSCO, the largest robotics educational materials distributor in the U.S., to provide a year long research experience for 45 regional teachers over a 3-year period.
