Synopsis: E59120X – Virtual Acquisition Office

The National Science Foundation (NSF) intends to procure access to a subscription service which provides up to the minute federal acquisition information, insight and analysis.  The subscription provides daily acquisition related news delivered by email, a searchable database to locate information on specific acquisition topics, a monthly publication to digest the implementation of changes in the acquisition regulations, contracting process checklists to assist in contract file reviews to ensure compliance with the latest FAR requirements, listings of existing GWACs, MACs, and BPA to assist in streamlining the market research process.

The period of performance is August 11, 2009 through August 10, 2010.

 The proposed contract action is for services for which the government intends to sponsor with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106.  This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.   This synopsis is for information purposes only.  See Numbered Note 22 (changing 45 days to 5 days).
