Synopsis: DACS11QSR01 - Venture Capital Data

The National Science Foundation is soliciting quotations for access to venture capital finance data. This data is for use on Science Indicators by NSF's National Center for Science and Engineering Statistics (NCSES). Terms and conditions will be negotiated with the selected vendor. Award will be made to the firm whose quote is determined to offer the best value to the National Science Foundation (NSF). In addition to price, NSF will consider the product solution to fulfilling the data needs of the Science Indicators. Details regarding Science Indicators is available on the NSF web site, www.nsf.gov.

Firms interested in this requirement are requested to submit a quote (with pricing) and detail of the subscription. NCSES needs access, at a minimum, to the following data: (1) venture capital financed at the detailed industry and technology level, by investing country and region and stage of financing; (2) top ranked U.S. universities with start ups that have received venture capital financing; and (3) U.S. venture capital financed abroad by detailed industry and technology level and stage of financing.
