Synopsis: Industrial Research Institute (IRI) Membership

The National Science Foundation (NSF) intends to procure a continued membership with the Industrial Research Institute (IRI).   This membership will enable NSF to continue to establish and maintain strong business connections with research and development departments of all major U.S. and international corporations.  The IRI organization is unique in that its membership is comprised of major industrial corporations that account for over 80% of all research and development carried out in the U.S.

The period of performance is January 1, 2010 through December 31, 2010. The proposed contract action is for services for which the government intends to sponsor with only one source under the authority of FAR 12.106.  This notice is not a request for competitive proposals.  This synopsis is for information purposes only.  See Note 22 (substitute 45 days for 5 days).
